Ouzo's European Grill - Kalamazoo

My favorite place in town. Chicken Marsala is dying. The staff is great, owners are great. Must try when you're in Kzoo.

Best restaurant in Kalamazoo. We stopped this summer from Ouzo and we loved it!! The food is incredible and so affordable. You have the best design beer selection in Kalamazoo and some great wines. I would recommend getting the Mousaka. It was incredible. The decor is simple and beautiful. It's like you're in an upscale bistro in Paris. Great ambience. If you are looking for a quick bite, this is not the place for you - this is a place to relax and enjoy a great experience in European style. Our waitress was so attentive and friendly. Great service.

Bang for your ass. This place is a lot. Beautiful bistro feel with very inexpensive food. Try the gros, trout or avgolemono soup. Unfortunately, it seems that the wine list has taken a slide by removing some of the more unique options such as the Cab Franc and the Pinot Gris. This place is packed at weekends, but is relatively easy to come in the week.

Large beer selection. Eating is always good. Favorite is the Salmon Savior Sanndwich with havarti. Probably my favorite place to go with friends and relax.

Grilled Trout. The trout grilled in grape leaves is really nice. It's basically two sides of a rainbow trout, no bones, wrapped in grape leaves and cooked on a grill. The grape leaves get lightly charred. The trout cooks inside the grape leaves and remains moist, but not watery and delicately infused with a hint of smoke and flavor. A good portion for one. It really works for me. I have enjoyed the smoked salmon sandwich and other dishes at Ouzo's, too.
