Starbucks - Kalamazoo

The customer service here is worse than the standalone Dunkin' right in front of Target.

I was on the lookout for sweet tea while I was in Michigan, as I hadn’t found any since I arrived. None of the big chain restaurants nearby offered it. But then, Dorcas came to the rescue and fulfilled my craving! She was as sweet as the tea itself! Our conversation was delightful—she was funny and incredibly helpful. She made my experience unforgettable. I've never been so impressed by service, even back home in Florida. When we return to Michigan, we will definitely stop by this restaurant, and hopefully, we'll get to see Dorcas again!

This used to be my favorite Starbucks, and I used to visit regularly. However, I've noticed some staff changes recently. One of the morning employees is not very pleasant; she never seems to be in a good mood. In the mornings, customers appreciate seeing a cheerful face to help kick off their day on a positive note. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she has strawberry blonde hair and freckles. She's the only one who comes off that way. No one wants to start their day with an unfriendly barista.

After waiting in line for several minutes because they only had one staff member working on a busy weekend, they were out of a vital ingredient that goes into a lot of their drinks. No signage informing people or anything. Multiple people would not have had to wait so long if signage had been put up. The one staff member working was very polite and apologetic.
