Came to lunch in the restaurant to make a booking for 8 people, but was said they didn't take bookings so we showed up at 5:30 a.m. (before the rush time) and was told that they couldn't accommodate us, although the restaurant had only 2 tabs. the personal could simply not be disturbed to pull some tables together. we said it was an hour waiting so that we ended our business to another Korean restaurant that fortunately pulled a few tables together to accommodate our group. so disappointing as we have always supported this business to bring family and friends since we arrived in canberra 2 years ago.
I would never have been in a Korean restaurant, but went past a hungry Sunday afternoon and saw the annoying thought maybe I should go. now first the menu elements puzzle me a bit, as there are some very pricy dishes. it was only after seeing that some brought on a table that I realized that they are for 2 3 people (4 if they don't eat much.) I went with some fairly familiar seafood fried rice and bbq pork/spine. before my meal arrived, I was delivered a small bowl of boiled rice and three small spices. 1 was kimchi, but I have to say I don't know what the other two were. So I broke off to mix the seasoned with rice until my head arrived and when they did, I was in heaven. the aromen were excellent, the BBQ-Saucy and tasty and the portion was great enough that I had left enough to dinner as night. I will go back to try a lot more, and I must say that the staff was flat, but fast efficient and friendly and it was great to chat and laugh the kitchen staff working (maybe with me when I didn't know what to do with my seasons).
They enjoy the japche (stir fried clear potato noodles, sweet and bark meat) served with a few Korean pickles for lunch. reasonable prices. no foot setting with basic dining tables and plastic cups. Korean pop music in the background.
Is been a while didn’t went to eat Korean Foods. This restaurant at night time is quite crowds and it attract me have to get a try in one day. Today I went here and have my lunch, so surprising about the taste is really...delicious and I’m super like it. I have order the stew soup fish eggs with seafoods in anchovy soup, and u can request to add extra boiled egg on top of the soup. It comes with rice and free small dishes for main meal. Highly recommended if u love to try the stew and soups, couples or friends and family can be go together and order the big meals of hot pot and price reasonable.
