I was happy when I left when it was a good and cheap meal. the second time was a lunch box trip in April-Bit the catches are that the small size is tiny, which is regular good, but they are limited to what they look in the baine-marie, which is not good, but with not much option and in haste I took what I could back to work. the lunchbox was quite common and I would not recommend this to everyone, as they seem to cook very small amounts and let them sit there until someone chooses it. I could try to eat again and give them a chance to redeem, but not to hurry.
During this self-isolation period, we decided to order a couple of dishes from this restaurant to enjoy at home. We chose the honey chicken and sweet laksa. While the dishes were prepared and delivered promptly, we found them to be somewhat disappointing. They were not necessarily bad, just quite ordinary. The portions were small, and the flavors were not as vibrant as we had hoped. The laksa had too many noodles and not enough sweetness, while the overall aroma was a bit off-putting. This was our first time ordering from this restaurant, and after yesterday's experience, we are not certain if we will order from here again.
This place was good earlier, but seems like they changed their menu a little. I couldn't find the menu for the special roast where they order a large amount of duck, pork, huh, etc. then everything they have to order was on the side. Last time I was here, I ordered the brittle wine on rice. it was a big lot of rice, but only small bands of pork. To do this, I paid $5 extra to get extra gay, but again, it was just a few small bands. (They actually have to pay more than $5 to get the extra that is more like $7 I think. but they gave me only $5 worth for the $5 I paid that serve obvs less than their usual $7. at least I didn't think her meal was a good one. they were also quite stingy with the bok choy .which I see as a kind of filler plant. can't they be a little more generous with it? I'm sure it's still pretty busy too day and they get many takeaway orders. and I will probably continue to visit. Asian teehouse, what happened? somewhat disappointing.
If you're feeling hungry, this restaurant is a much better option than a fast food joint. Customers can call ahead and pick up their meal in about 10 minutes. The food is delicious, with a variety of sweet and savory options (no fatty meats), and the restaurant is very clean. The servings are generous and the prices are reasonable. It's worth noting that we often see police officers eating here and they appear to be in good shape, unlike those who frequent fast food places.
The food is amazing and they are always very large serves. Fresh veggies and tasty meat and sauces, well cooked rice and friendly service. Basic eating space but lean.
