New owners got take away great taste and. Serving size highly recommend we had three dishes between four and couldn't finish

We ate here this weekend when our accommodation venue did't have a restaurant. Very basic dining room.I believe most of their business would be takeaway.The food was very good quality and very generous servings. Good food, good value.

We just love the food from this restaurant. A favourite Friday night treat we have never been disappointed. We pick randomly from the menu and keep finding new favourites.

Recently taken over by different owners. Service is a bit more organised and helpful, but the food is much worse. Avoid.

Nicholls Chinese is one of those eateries where the food is so tasty that you either grudgingly deal with the highly variable service or you swear off them, then come crawling back after a while... only to be frustrated again. Delivery orders can be punctual and perfect... or massively late and missing elements. Takeaway orders can be ready and waiting for your arrival, or not even in front of the cooks. It's more of an adventure than it needs to be, but when they're good, they're really good.
