Summit Barsana Resort Kalimpong

What a lovely stay with 5 families…this was a memorable stay and was a discovery for us in terms of location , comfort , view , customer service and ambience. In my view it’s one of the best maintained properties in the district . The GM Mr N Choudhary is a hands on person and I have seen him constantly ensuring guest comfort. I have also never seen such a dedicated team in a resort who work tirelessly and with a spontaneous smile on their face. Even when the buffet had almost ended I saw them filling it so that guests do not miss anything. Hospitality at its best and is world class. I would definitely come back here in a group of families and friends. Perfectly maintained property. All of us were overwhelmed by the warmth and dedication of the staff members and Nigel.

Loved this place. Am a club Mahindra member and this is an affiliate resort of Mahindra but the decision to book here was correct. The vibes were so soothing... Staff prompt and courteous and restaurant food tasty and variety considering their charges were fantastic.

Keeping in mind the reviews we had seen on the web and the pictures, we expected the place to be nice and it indeed was nice, the lawn had a beautiful breeze overlooking the hills, rooms were neat and clean and had a nice view. The staff were very friendly and the dinner was excellent but the breakfast wasn’t very good and some were kept outside and felt unhygienic. Now the major inconvenience that we faced was, the temperature at the time we went was very hot so naturally we were expecting some cool air inside the rooms from the ceiling fans but they were not helping much, we asked them to provide some standing fans but they had no more than 2 fans!!! We were out in the lawn getting the cool breeze and did not want to return to the room due to the heat. The major issue for Summit Barsana was they were not well-equipped to battle the heat but otherwise the experience was pleasing.

The property is really nice but far from main market ...the whole property very neat and clean but there should be one refrigerator on premium rooms...the food quality very nice and tasty but have some more varieties on desert section and north Indian menu ... otherwise all the facilities they have provided the

Class apart stay service experience. Just awesome. I had an corporate meeting event in March 2023, was served awesome. Unit manager Mr. Nygel, a nice personality whom we met is so nice person, he is simply one stop solution for all the requirements. He entire have taken care very nicely.
