I've always really enjoyed Chi Cafe and I'm sad to see the sandwiches go... but happy to have something that looks just as tasty/unique to replace them! I have not tried the poke bowls yet (plan to soon) and generally only visit for bubble tea. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that 6/650 (16/24 oz) for bubble tea (not including tip) just feels pricey to me. I'll probably still go but sparingly, as $7+ dollars each visit will definitely mean I'm picking my trips wisely. It'll be hard to stay away...because the popping mango bubbles are especially tasty! And if you're someone who spends around that amount on drinks often, for example Starbucks, you may not even bat an eyelash!
The poke bowls here are huge and so very yummy. Choose the specials or create your own masterpiece with exactly the ingredients you enjoy most. The owner Chi is also very welcoming, friendly and gracious. It was like going out to your best friend's place to have a great meal!
We got some bubble tea, bubble waffles, egg coffee, macarons, and tiramisu!!! We ate the banh mi very quickly. Everything was super yummy and I would definitely return!! It is also very cute in the inside and the workers were friendly!
My fiancé and I decided to try this place out during my lunch break today. He ordered the Hawaiian Poke Bowl and I made my own customized bowl with salmon and spicy tuna. We were the only customers in the cafe. The very young workers were very kind, however took 10 minutes to make my bowl probably because they were all dilly dallying. My fiancé’s bowl was ready by payment. I suggested he start eating his bowl, but he wanted to wait for mine. When I opened the lid to my bowl, it appeared the poke “artist” who put together my bowl spent time making designs. I wish I took a pic of the difference between both poke bowls, but I was too hungry. Anyways we ended up having to eat real quick in the car, so I could get back to work. Not sure if this place satisfied my poke craving.
