Salt - Kalk Bay

Great food and wonderful atmosphere! Always something interesting for vegans to eat!

We had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Salt in Kalk Bay, located on Kalk Bay Main Road next to Olympia Cafe. The service was attentive and friendly, and we tried many of the small plates offered on the daily menu board. The food presentation was incredible, and we were not disappointed. We highly recommend a visit to Salt - the food was outstanding, especially the lamb ravioli which we ordered twice! We couldn't pick a favorite dish because they were all amazing. The owner, Nic, even came over to introduce himself while we were settling the bill, showing a personal touch that we appreciated. The young and passionate staff at Salt are sure to lead to continued success. We will definitely be back soon!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend trying the wasabi calamari, even if you don't like spicy food, as it was delicious! The linefish was also fantastic and the wine selection is very tasty. You won't regret checking this place out.

It’s the little things that accompany each dish which make the food a great experience. Ask the waiter what’s good and order that. Important to remember these guys are ditching plastic which 8million tones enter the oceans each year. What are you doing to help? Thx guys! Salt is the new Brass bell. Hopefully just ALoT cleaner in the kitchen ha ha!!!

The food at this restaurant is amazing. The combination of butternut ravioli with sage butter and kudu goulash with homemade pasta was exceptional. They have a great wine selection, the espresso machine is always busy, and the staff is fantastic. You have to try it!
