Big Boy

We are very grateful for our server Jennifer. Big Boy in Kalkaska is halfway between us and dear friends from Reed City. Within a couple of times of us meeting there to catch up with one another, Jennifer knew us by sight and knew our order. The food is always hot and good. Like all restaurants, the place is short staffed, but we never have to ask for coffee refills. Today we got home and realized my husband's wallet had fallen out of his pocket. Jennifer answered the phone when I called and made sure the wallet was there for me to pick up after another hour's drive there. My only negative is the women's bathroom always reeks. But the friendly staff always trumps this.

Still trying to get use to up north slow service. Food was cold, server never came back to check on us. An hour and 40 minutes for breakfast. It's the norm just about everywhere up north. Oh well

Service was good. The waittris was very nice...but pulled in too many directions. Short staffing I think. We had to wait 15 min before we were even handed water and menus.

We visited on a Sunday morning very busy Only a slight wait for food waitress was amazing Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room in dining areas but a bit tight in bathrooms

Got seated right away. Took forever to take our order. Didn't enjoy the meal. Toast was burnt. Had to go get jelly myself. Omelet barely had cheese. Over all it was not a good experience. In my opinion the management need to step up and get that restaurant in order.
