I had an incredible waitress, her name was Amy. And she accommodated us so well and explained all the options for the campfire feast and helped us pick really great food options and it was honestly such a good experience. Amy is also so charismatic and got our order perfectly and there were no mishaps. The chef was also absolutely incredible, the steaks were exquisite and the entree sides were delicious. My personal favorite order is the campfire feast with the three cheese bread, New York strip, au gratin potatoes, Mac and cheese, and creme brûlée for dessert. Everyone needs to try Black Angus if you're thinking of going to a steakhouse. Trust me, one of the best places in the valley. The food tastes incredible, the portions are huge and have a great value for the price, and the service is unmatched. Just know that some days they're really busy and they have a lot of tables so your food might take a while to come out, but it's worth the wait, I promise.
My family has eaten at Black Angus many times and never had any complaints until now. Our waitress was very busy but friendlly and accommodating. Took awhile to even get water when we were seated. The kitchen messed up several of our party of six orders. That wasn't the waitress's fault as she had taken correct orders. Embarrassed she immediately notified the kitchen, and we eventually received missing items from our entrees. Our college graduate honoree was served a gratis Giant Chocolate Chip Cowboy cookie. She did give us a free slice of Cheesecake as token compensation for the issues we experienced. In the future we may dine at a different location.
Pleasant staff and food is a good value. This is not a top steak house but always reliable for a good meal. We ordered the campfire feast. Got the shrimp cocktail- 6 large pieces to share. I always get the included New York steak. It was tender and flavorful. The dinner salad is better than most included salads as it has shredded carrots, purple cabbage and croutons. The brown bread is delicious. We shared the cheesecake for dessert. I thought it was a little dry so would try something else next time. I'd go here more often but there isn't one near me.
I went last night for mother 's Day dinner, I order ribeye steak, but what I got I think it was New York steak it was dry and hard and when I told the manager that that wasn 't what I ordered, "believe me I 'm a meat lover and I know my steak ' he gave me a weird story telling me that the reason why the steak look different is because it comes from another country I think he said Australia which of course I didn 't believe, my guess is that they run out of ribeye and that 's why they gave me a different steak because one person in the group also ordered the same thing and she got ribeye, the reason I 'm giving three stars instead of one is because the manager realized that they made a mistake so they remove they charge for the steak from the bill but that 's not the point the reason I went there is because I really wanted to enjoy a good ribeye steak and I didn 't get it so my dinner was ruined, I would have prefer for him to be honest and tell me we run out of that kind of steak instead of giving me the story. I only ate a couple of pieces of meat and I took the rest of the food home so it wasn 't a good mother 's day dinner.
