This place is definitely a hole in the wall on the second floor of the plaza. We ordered lamb skewers (it's a must even if you don't like lamb) there was no gamy taste or smell whatsoever. My friend who hates to eat lamb really enjoyed it for the first time. We also got beef and pork skewers. The skewers are cooked over an automatic rotation machine. The charcoal makes the meat taste even better. We also got the $15 cucumber salad, pricey but delicious. There's plenty of different beer and soju here too. I wish I lived near here but sadly I live out of town. I will be back for sure.
Previously I've only had lamb skewers once and that experience was not as fun as I wanted it to be, so when my friends told me they are taking me to a lamb skewer place I was not excited... more... anxious than worrisome. This place completely change my thought of lamb skewers and I'm now a fan! I can't really eat lamb because of the smell but recently I've been more adventurous and the seasoning at this place wasn't as strong as the first time I've tried lamb skewers which made it easier for me to eat. First off, the vents in this place work so well I don't smell like... smoke after dinner and the grill is automatic so it's entertaining and less work for the customers. I tried the lamb skewers (of course), the beef tendon, enoki wrapped in brisket, shrimp, scallops, chicken cartilage, pork cartilage and buns. Some of the items that are not skewers that we tried were, sweet and sour pork, warm noodles and cold noodles. PLEASE ORDER THE COLD NOODLES. The place is pretty spacious and the staff are very friendly! I asked a lot of questions and recommendations because I was anxious about trying new and different food but they were very kind to answer all questions and gave us many suggestions and all of the recommended dishes were delicious! It can get a little pricey but I think it's still worth a try. They do have valet parking or there's some street parking around the area.
Sweet and sour pork is bomb! I would love to come back to eat sweet and sour pork soon
Impossibly slow service and table turnover. Be prepared to wait. Food looked good but after an hour of waiting and the list not moving at all, we gave up. Better luck to you :
