Service was impeccable. Kevin at the bar really made it one of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. The pastas were amazing and the rib eye cap was perfect. 11/10
Read that this was a must-try restaurant on Abbot Kinney, so I made dinner reservations to celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant is beautiful and the outdoor patio is cute and comfortable. Food and service, however, were disappointing. The Sfincione focaccia looked stunning; it was a glistening golden brown, but really fell flat on flavor and was very dry. Unfortunately, this focaccia is memorable in how much of a let down it was. The Busiate was a big miss. The description sounded great, but it was chalky and sour. The only dish that was a standout and absolutely delicious was the Tagliatelle ragu bolognese. Great flavor, great texture, everything about this dish worked. For dessert, we got the tiramisu which was just okay. I've had tiramisu that was much better at other places.
Excellent restaurant. One of the best on the West Side. Focaccia is fiiiire. Have tried probably 5 different pastas here and they are all delicious! Squash blossoms are perfect too
The food at Felix is fantastic. The negatives the noise level in the main dining room is very high, and they try to recreate an authentic Italian dinning experience but the pace is fast. Food comes out quickly. Bussers are ready to clear plates immediately, and the check was dropped without being asked. We went on a Monday night, and it felt like all they wanted was to turn the table.
Took my in-laws to Felix to celebrate my mom-in-law's cancer remission. The food was incredible, as always, but our server Nick took such great care of us and made my mom-in-law feel very special. It was a beautiful evening and one of my mom-in-law's favorite nights ever. :
