They recommended different options for me to try outside of my standard order. While parking leaves something to be desired, the staff here makes up for that. The food is always fresh and delicious.
The vegetarian sandwhich is one of the few things my picky eater will eat, with a side of kickin ranch.I have to say, Daryl gets an A for customer service. He often times doesn't have any help, and can be so busy, but he has the best attitude, and the best customer service, something that is rare these days. He also remembers exactly what my daughter gets!
Clean, small location. Polite staff. Be willing to pay for garage parking in the same complex even on weekends. It’s L.A., so…. ?
Do not order for delivery. They only have one delivery person who rides a bike. I try to be courteous every time I order and go outside and wait for him once it says “out for delivery” since my apartment complex can be hard. It has been numerous times now where I have been standing outside waiting for over an hour. Jimmy John’s used to be fast, but with me living a 5 minute walk from jimmy johns it should not be taking over an hour to be delivered. I just had a baby so I can’t leave the house much which is why I have been ordering for delivery. This jimmy johns needs to figure out a better system and have at least two different delivers
Jimmy John's is a Midwest sandwich chain that's opening more and more locations out here in Southern California. I would put it similar to say a Jersey Mike's, minus the oil and vinegar. I really like Jimmy John's, but I am given it four stars because I would prefer to have the oil and vinegar, just makes the sandwich that much tastier. But overall they have excellent sandwiches and a reasonable price for the most part. You can use the app to make the service quicker and get rewards when ordering, but typically they get you in and out very fast and the various locations I have visited, the staff has always been nice and accommodating to any type of sandwich request you may have. The stores are pretty straightforward typical Sandwich shop nothing over the top, a few quirky sayings on the walls and standard tables that are clean and plenty of room to sit.My most recent visit I got the #7 spicy East Coast Italian, peppers on the side, the peppers have a pretty good spice to them, so they may be spicy for some people. That's why I get them on the side so I can control how much I want in each bite but they're super good. The sandwiches come on a standard French roll. Bread is very tasty. The East Coast Italian has double Genoa salami, double cappocollo and provolone along with peppers and any topping you like. Super tasty. If there is a location near you, check them out.Enjoy!
