It’s a decent mom and pop business and the Latte was ok. Breakfast burrito good but I just find it hard to believe a latte and burrito was $18 ??‍

Wow a hidden gem, just stopped by for lunch and was blown away by the quality of the food and service?

Delicious French Toast breakfast combo! Came with 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 hash browns (amazing!!! and 3 slices of French toast for $9.99. You can't beat that price anywhere else in LA. The French toast was topped with powder sugar and came with slices of strawberries and bananas. Went to this coffee shop while work was being done on my car around the corner. Will definitely come back EVERY single time I am in the area. Great food, great prices and good service. You can tell that everyone who works here works hard and does a great job at what they do.

I had a very pleasant lunch while walking my newly adopted pup to her first veterinary check up. It is just amazing how life works out.I had gotten as far as the Van Nuys Orange Line station (which I have reviewed on Google Maps before), and I checked my Google Maps app. There was, indeed, a bus going down Oxnard Blvd., but it wasn't coming for 45 minutes. Since it was only 1/4 mile to the VCA Animal Services (another review by me), off we went.It was a strangely warm day for March, and we both were thirsty and tired. As we plodded onwards, I began to perspire (dogs don't sweat). Just at the moment that I began to curse myself for not waiting for the bus, a beautiful oasis appeared before us.We hobbled in, and a waitress approached us with water: a cup for me and a small bowl for her. She was an unusually attentive waitress. She was prescient.I ordered the roast beef sandwich on white bread with nothing but mayonnaise and a glass of milk. In a few minutes, she returned with a half sandwich and glass of milk and a small plate of plain roast beef and a saucer of milk. It's just amazing.The sandwich was excellent, and the decor was mid century American, but what was most memorable was that the place felt right. It felt like home.The Oxnard Coffee Shop. The best lunch in Los Angeles. Three thumbs up. Kid friendliness: It's not kid friendly. It's kid loving. Parking: Free parking with handicapped spaces. Get one soon they'll fill up quickly. Wheelchair accessibility: Our handicapped Americans will find that this restaurant has all of the amenities needed to enjoy lunch next to the less handicapped persons.
