Don't order pizza; it is bad. I saw other reviews warning about the pizza and I ignored them. It arrived looking like it had been sitting for a long time, even though we confirmed with our waiter that we'd like it whenever it is ready. The pasta is great– go for the pasta! The service is good. The space is LOUD. We kept having to ask our waiter to repeat themselves because it was so loud even though the dining room was only half full. Desserts were fine, but we would have been better off going elsewhere to dessert. Not an ideal place for a special occasion, but if you're near DTLA and are craving pasta then it'll hit the spot.
We had the octopus salad and the eggplant as starters. Both were absolutely delicious! Subtle tastes, just enough seasoning. Main dishes were a pizza and a mushroom pasta. Rarely had such a good pizza and a pasta, even compared with the ones we had already in Italy! It was a pitty it was our last night in LA, otherwise we would have had dinner at Rossoblu every evening!
This was a special Sicilian dinner. Food outstanding with wine pairing thoughtful . Unfortunately the outside dining was disturbed by very loud recordings from a recently opened brewery next door. Restauant moved us downstairs into room better suited for smaller group. Everyone made the most of it because a Rossoblu special dinner is something Chef Steve excels at. When there isn't the distraction of blasting drums from the brewery pub, this is our favorite Italian restaurant
Very accommodating to vegetarian and vegan diets. All the food was extraordinary.
