No grudge held of course and never had a truly bad thing to say about the quality or taste of their food. Everything is great every time! Thanks TLT!!! For some reason Google maps was not finding their Westwood village location so I went on to their website to find exact address and phone number... Their phone recording AND website both say they close at 10:00pm. So I rush here to get an order in bc their Carnitas fries are what I need right now and to my HUGE disappointment, they're already closed!!! .... What's up TLT?? My pregnancy cravings have me needing your carnitas fries and corn on the cob but bc you don't know how to update your phone message or website all I'm left with is an empty stomach and a lot of disappointment bc I know you're better than this!
BEWARE. We had to postpone our wedding and all associated events due to COVID. The Lime Truck is the ONLY VENDOR that was unwilling to let us move our deposit (50% of the total cost! to a new date, even though we gave notice more than a month in advance. Will never try to work with them again.
We were wrapping up our stay in Westwood and were interested in something different, unique and good. Our daughter recommended TLT (The Lime Truck) which from what we were told started out as a food truck and became so successful, they opened restaurants. This place was so good and I’m so jealous for the people in Los Angeles. There are so many outstanding food choices and this was another one in Westwood. We ordered 8 tacos which were all different or customized to the person ordering them. There were 3 of us and had leftovers for the next day as we could not eat all eight. The tacos are all named after locations or cities in the U.S. They can be made with any of their different meat and veggie selections. We ordered a variety of their tacos including The OC with Ahi and another with Chicken Tinga, The ALT (Atlanta) all with steak, The Malibu with chicken, a veggie with tofu and a potato taco. Also, we ordered a side of Brussel sprouts which was small but very good. All of our tacos were outstanding. They run about $5 which is a little on the high side, but very tasty. We’ll go back.
Best tacos in LA. No question. you know what? Get the chimi noodles, the brussels sprouts, the corn too.
A little pricey but totally worth it! Service was fantastic and the food was delicious! Would be happy to stop by again next time we visit LA!
