Brasserie Im Pferdestall - Kalkhorst

The quality of food in the brasserie is hardly undercut. A lustless caesar salad, matjes with greasy loaf potatoes, a scavenger with roast potatoes instead of with the ordered pommes and as a culinary supergau a curry sausage in a mysterious double intestine with plastic consistency, which was presented to us yesterday at an extraordinary official price. The staff tried, but the German language was not powerful, could only reduce the bad impression insignificant. Shade, the location in the park of the Great Swan Lake is enchanting.

I'm hard to evaluate the brasserie. The ambience is better than the food and the food is better than the service. The food is good. The price is reasonable. Not exciting, not boring. Here you can eat delicious and be fed well. Maybe it hacks that it's too stiff... If you make the restaurant a bit more grounded and personal, the brasserie would certainly be good and everything would be more harmonious. But no question: The terrace is great. Food fresh and good. And a visit is worth it. 4.4 stars.
