Cordo Resto - Kamloops

OMG, OMG, OMG….went there this evening with a friend to celebrate her birthday. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. The food was soooo good!!! The service, well, exceptional. The waitress was attentive but not hovering and lovely with a warm smile to welcome us. We weren’t hurried at all (but it was quiet in the restaurant). We shared a starter okanaghan pear radicchio salad which was absolutely delish! The spicy maple pork belly was to die for so melt in your mouth ! Then we were brought a palate cleanser, okanaghan cherry watermelon sorbet before our entre and it was divine. My entre was and the Handmade Parmesan Gnocchi which was light on the tongue and flavourful and quite a large portion, but because it was so light and airy, i didnt feel stuffed and ate the whole plate . And for dessert well i have never, ever, had cappuccino icecream (more like a gelato) which was that GOOD! It was exquisite along with the macaroons (light as air). Thiank you to the Chef for an EXCELLENT meal. You really have created a show stopper menu. You are very talented and my taste buds are still dancing hours later. This is the best restaurant I have ever experienced. Worth every single dollar (and not overpriced i might add) I would highly recommend you go!! You will not be disappointed.

Very nice cocktails, good selection and tasty food. Friendly staff, what more do you want? Happy to come back anytime.

Excellent dishes and portions, including the appetizers and desserts. A bit noisy with other patrons' conversations and our orders took a long time but overall good experience.

Waited an hour for my food before a movie. Asked after an hour where it was it hadn’t been put in yet. Waitress apologized by giving us extra mints.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. The noise level was perfect, the restaurant was clean, the server paid attention to us. The food was very good. I have been inspired to try my hand at sorbet and it is in the works as we speak! I will definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends. Thank you and thank you for asking!
