Scott's Inn Restaurant - Kamloops

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to Vancouver. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, but had a slightly outdated appearance. Unfortunately, they no longer offer free breakfast due to COVID. The rooms come equipped with a fridge, TV, and iron. The bathrooms have shower caps, towels, soap, and shampoo. Overall, it's a decent option for a one-night stay, but the price we paid for the night did not seem reasonable considering the outdated decor.

I went to this restaurant for lunch and found that they offer decent portions of food for the price. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service was good. What really sets this place apart is the value you get in terms of portion size for the price.

We occasionally come for breakfast or lunch and it's always delicious.

We attended a birthday luncheon and interestingly, we were split 50/50 regarding our meals. First half of table had Chefs Salad and were all a the rest of the table burger n fries, sandwich, chicken fingers, etc.

Quiet little greasy spoon comfort food place. Bathroom is spacious but I don't think a wheel chair could get in and out of there very easy if at all. I did like that they had what I call a Jesus bar in the bathroom for people who are elderly or handy capped to help them get up off the toilet. No wheel chair parking and it's on a hill/incline. We had two orders of fish and chips and 2 orders of Monte Cristo and fries sandwiches. The Monte Cristo was no where close to what you would think a Monte would be. Hard to explain. The fish was overcooked. Burnt on one side of my pieces. I did see other tables had nice looking fish and chips. Unfortunately our server didn't stop bad food from coming to our table. We didnt send it back because we were travelling and in a rush to get going again. Other than that the service was great. Very attentive and asking how things were and if we needed anything else. Had a sense of humor which I always appreciate. Four dishes and 4 soft drinks cost us $95
