Eating Surinam food down the countryside is always risky in my opinion. It's hard enough already to find good quality Surinam food in the bigger cities. This restaurant is an exception tho, a true surprise in Kampen. The food is really fresh and ingredients are well put together. The taste is amazing, and many of the sauces are home made, which you can tell by the authentic taste. Keep up the good work Mellah and team! The roti wasn't bad, but it just contained boiled potatoes with some kind of curry sauce. A bit of a shame, potatoes with roti should be fully cooked in herbs. We had to eat a lot of chutney with it to get it to taste a bit. The vegetarian option could also be a bit better, the meat is simply replaced by some potatoes. Ordered here last night and it was really delicious! The chicken satay and the wok boxes are highly recommended! I will definitely order here again
