Starbucks - Kanata

Staff in drive thru are so welcoming its unreal makes you second guess where you are for a second! But I must make my self clear in a good way! interactions at the window you are always guaranteed to leave laughing or with a smile !

We have found the Starbucks locations in the Kanata area so poor that we had all but given up on finding a good one. But, since we happened to be in South Kanata today, we decided to try the one location we hadn't tried yet on Eagleson Road. And we were pleasantly surprised.Service was friendly and efficient. I always ask if the brewed decaffeinated coffee has been freshly made because I know from past experience that Starbucks brewed coffee can be left sitting for hours (and can therefore be undrinkable). The cashier wasn't sure if it was fresh, but offered to make a Decaf Americano in lieu. This is the approach taken by the best Starbucks locations and meant that my coffee was excellent.We also had two Double Smoked Bacon Cheddar and Egg breakfast sandwiches, which we also enjoyed.This location is definitely a cut above the other Kanata locations. My only negative comment is that the freshness of the brewed decaf was unknown. Surely it would be better to throw out the coffee after, say, 20 minutes rather than have a customer have to complain about it?
