I went to lunch at Gyokusen-tei, a scenic spot in Kanazawa It's a lunch that you can eat for about two and a half hours while looking at the samurai garden related to the Kaga domain. The building is a samurai residence in the late Edo period that is over 200 years old I am fascinated by the historic building that is 120 years older than Kenrokuen! The meal uses locally harvested vegetables and seafood, and the dishes that bring out the umami are one after another In particular, the bamboo shoot rice was cooked at the gate, so 5 cups were refilled The kimono crane grew many times larger lol It was a wonderful time filled with Japanese hospitality, and there was a spot I wanted to come back to again You can enjoy delicious Japanese food while wearing a kimono and hanging out in the garden. Just walking down the road will make you feel warm
Almost fell over themselves to block us from entering, claiming they were fully booked over the next two days with no possible window Despite being on our honeymoon, and happen to be members of the c-suite in England yet we didn’t fit the right ‘look’.....surprising and quite sad to see in this day and age...
Keiseke style dinner. Crab season... standing dishes at a very reasonable price
Empty restaurant was turned away... another case is of japanese only ?
