Restaurant Antico - Kandersteg

We arrived here after having to trudge through the rain arriving a little bit soaked. A bit annoying the lady sat us right next to the drafty door when there were loads of spare seats further back. However, she did eventually close the door for us. We were served by a very helpful and polite young man who helped us with the menu. We ordered the pizza and it was thin and crusty, just how it should be! I would have given this an excellent if it wasn't for being sat by the door when we were wet.

The pizzas here are perfectly reasonable. You can customise to have whatever you want, which is a bonus. However the trip was spoilt at the end when we realised we'd been charged 5 francs for two empty plates so some of us could share a pizza. We didn't ask for the plate. They also charge 5 francs for tap water, which in an already expensive eatery is ridiculous, especially as we'd spent over 100 francs on food and drink anyway. Good food, ruined by the details which left a sour taste

Pizza war sehr gut. Service leider völlig überfordert und unfreundlich. Sehr lange Wartezeit. Ambiance geht so.

Me and my friends stayed at the international scout camp. in the evening we decided to get ourselvs some real food, instead of the usual campingfood we usually ate there. We walked to the resturant, and decided to have a go. Recomended! The Pizza was som of the better i have ever tried, smart ordering service for us who cant speak swiss. we returned three times during the week we stayed in kandersteg. Next time i visitt Kandersteg, i will return to this resturant.

Wir haben Pizza und Salat gegessen. Das Essen war schrecklich. Unfreundliches Personal. Wir haben uns in diesem Restaurant nicht wohl gefühlt.
