Kassapa's Dream - Kandy

Kassapa Dream restaurant, a place situated in a beautiful area surrounded by nature with a beautiful surrounding, the panoramic view of the Knuckles mountain range, the beautiful glimpse of the river at the distance, coupled with the delicious food we were served, i can say this place is a dream of a place without any reserve. The place truly gave me the calm and peace that i needed right after a long journey. A quiet place with unobtrusive service. I also got the chance to witness monkeys, but was instructed by the friendly staff against feeding them as they can get agressive. This place is a must visit for sure.

Guys there are loads of things i dont know about, but one thing i know a lot about is food. This review is about this place i visited during my vacay in Sri Lanka, more specifically, in Kandy. Kandy has many restaurants and i visited a majority of them, among all of them there is one place that i visited more than twice. I actually found Kassapa's dream Restaurant accidentally while i was visiting this gem complex which i'll be writing about in the next review. The restaurant was actually on top of the gem complex, and had the best view. This was away from the town, and was situated in a forestry area but not very far from town. Anyways, the restaurant boasts a great view of rolling mountains and beautiful surrounding. The food of course is the best. I went for there rice and curry it was quite splendid. Visited again for the same but ended up buying italian, it was pretty good too. I was given great service by the staff. I had a good time

It has calm and quiet environment. The head chef is so great. We had our meals within 20 minutes and he was come and say hello and asked about the food too. Good staff too. Food was so delicious .

We were on a jewellery shopping trip when we were told that there was a rooftop restaurant in this gem complex. We wanted to give it a try. The restaurant had a spacious area and the kitchen was right where we can see, so it was pretty clear how the food is made. The place is very cleanly, the staff was very friendly and provided good service, the food was no less the best food i had. The rooftop restaurant is also very memorable because of the surrounding view. We could see mountain ranges and got to know that one set of the mountain was actually the knuckles range. We were very happy with this place and would visit them for sure again if we visit Sri Lanka.

When i was visiting kandy during my tour i did some digging on the trip advisor to see, the best places for sightseeing and the best restaurants. Kassapa dream came up, and the reviews to this restaurant were very good. So i jotted down 2-3 restaurants i wanted to visit. My tour guide took me to this Kassapa's dream restaurant first. The place served me not only good food, but also an amazing view. This place is a really good place with friendly staff, good food and amazing view to die for. Not only that i got the chance to go on a tour of the gem complex right below the reastaurant, ill be writing a review for them as well in my next post.
