The hotel is located in front of Kandy Lake. Compare cheap prices to other restaurants near Dalada Maligawa. Perfect customer service.
I good place to stop when you eat a hearty pastry (e.g. chicken) for breakfast or take with you for a simple lunch. This place is historical, so note the stained glass and wood carving. The selection is somewhat limited and the service can be slow.
We visit this place usually for a small snack, there service as well as food was well back a few years. Now the employees have been changed and the service worsened. In two recent visits, however, I experienced an employee who was used at the opening of bags saliva ( unpleasant and unhygienic during the Covid period) I expressly suggest that the management damper provides for this person and ask him the way to use it instead of using saliva on bags. We never expect such a service standard from a renowned hotel owner outlet.
Sat there for 5 minutes, No servers came by, they only attended foreigners, then went to the counter and ordered a water melon juice and fish and chips. The cashier was confused on how to use the POS system and finally some women came along to punch the order After 10 minutes a server comes with a Lime Juice. Which I sent back away, another ten minutes later he came back with the watermelon juice and followed with the food. While I was eating I can see the servers messing up the orders. The gentlemen next to me ordered plain tea, and he got a milk tea. The lady behind me ordered a strawberry milkshake and she got a watermelon juice. The servers aimlessly walk around asking who ordered what and ends up taking the food back to the kitchen, the service was utterly dysfunctional The decor and furniture is so out of date and not maintained, the bunk bench chairs are loose and squeaky the place badly needs a color wash it looked so dirty. And the food is very mediocre. L300
