Little did we know that the Kaneohe restaurant will be closing permanently this past Sunday. The Aiea and Honolulu restaurants will still be open according to Demetri who has worked at the Kaneohe Ichiriki since it opened. Without exaggeration, we have been there more than 100 times in the past 5 years. We have filled out more than 10 cards that require 10 punches per card to get a free meal. One card punch per visit. We used to go there mostly during the weekdays to eat lunch until they discontinued lunch on weekdays. The food, service, and price was excellent and you would think this place would never go out of business in Kaneohe. At least the other two will remain open. We are going to miss Ichiriki in Kaneohe.
I loved the food and service. It was a great experience taking my family there.
I LOVE this place. Food is great and always exceptional service. During quarantine, ichiricki saved me from having to cook every meal. My kids love the mochiko chicken. The shoyu base with regular chanko set is delish. If they would only bring back the Kalua pork nabe!!!!!
Ichiriki Kaneohe is one of our favorite restaurants for one of those cloudy Windward days. We're glad they are doing their best for their customers to bring home that Ichiriki hot pot experience. Also for the month of May , they have a 20% discount , and for health care workers 30% off!! (Must have ID) You can even use your discount on bottled Sake and beer! If your not into soup, they do have good appetizers, Garlic Shrimp, Sauteed mushrooms, Calamari, Ahi Katsu is good and Poke. Watch their IG page for the days they offer Shave Ice outside. Please support Ichiriki, it's a great place to eat and relax.
Ichiriki is offering take out at 20% discount for a limited time. However, I didn't know you had to cook it yourself. Luckily I had the hot pot to cook it in. It turned out actually fun and delicious. It came with all of the ingredients you need. All I had to do was to heat up the broth and throw everything inside.
