Jr’s Chicken - Kankakee

We were on our way home from a Chicago vacation and found this little gem. The chicken is great (get the hot wings: they’re not Buffalo wings, they’re similar to Tennessee style chicken) and the salad bar was a wonderful surprise. Oh they have homemade pies too!

Love their chicken moist and always hot. Service is with a smile. Sad other store closed in Bradley do to lack of employees wanting to work. I always get the macaroni salad, and a tapioca pudding!

Sides were delicious.. chicken wings were a little too fatty. Great service.

Mac salad is awesome:(sad that the container gets less n less filled.

Awesome little chicken joint! Pleasant staff, great food and reasonable prices.
