Okay, I need to review this meal i just ate, March 29, 2023 10:00 AM. Over a decade, I grew so disgusted with Country Pride, I just stopped going. Not this one in particular, the chain as a whole. Disappointment after disappointment became a deal breaker. I haven’t been to one since before the pandemic. Then, today, out of necessity, I came in to DeMotte restaurant, and it’s mostly empty, but I’ll be damned if they didn’t serve me the best Country Fried Steak breakfast I’ve ever had. An expensive breakfast but worth the money. If they could duplicate the standard I just experienced consistently, this would stay busy. So I’m trying to get the word out. Hopefully they can keep it up.

Bad service, chicken noodle soup was very thick and very salty. Chicken fried chicken was ok, but already had a bad taste for the place after the soup, and over priced. Will not be coming back.

Restaurant closed Friday and Saturday!?! And they wonder why there is a driver shortage. Nice big lot, I'd rather take a dump out side in the parking lot then waste my money in a place that blatantly disregards the only people that keep it open, the truckdrivers.Short on staff then do a buffet, it's not rocket science.

Closed at 6pm on a Friday and closed all day on Saturday.Truckers depend on you for a hot meal since this place is so far from town where parking lots are large enough for tractors.Women's bathroom is a total mess looks like hasn't been cleaned for days.
