American Slang Modern Brasserie

This was some of the best tomato soup I have ever had. The prosciutto flatbread pizza was terrific. The chocolate cake with berries was the perfect finish to the meal.

We were there for a business lunch and were one of five customers there during that 90 minutes. We both ordered salads. I had the Cobb and was disappointed. The iceberg lettuce was thrown in big hunks (rather than chopped or shredded) in the bowl with brown avocados. I liked the Green Goddess dressing it was served with but otherwise it was less than average. The service was very good and it's a beautiful space. I would try it again but would order something entirely different.

Very cool looking place with beautiful views. The steak was tender and tasty but the sauce was delish!! There were 4 of us with two sharing a salad which was very good and no problem to share by two. The other entree was the scallop dish and was excellent! We got there at 7pm and were just about the only diners but it filled up nicely later with a very good band for entertainment.

Our birthday afternoon tea was fun. The treats were yummy. Our waiter, Marcos, was very welcoming.

We had a lovely tea celebration for my sister's birthday. The food was visually appealing and quite tasty. Our servers were wonderful. They gave us privacy, but returned at exactly the right times to bring more tea, water, etc. For the experience we were looking for, it was perfect.
