Amigos Grill Cantina - Kansas City

Honestly, I can only give this place 2 stars because the quesadillas were good. However, the rice wasn’t fresh. We placed a phone order for pickup, and the woman who answered was quite rude right from the start. My partner went to pick up the food, but he wasn’t sure what was supposed to be included. When we unpacked the bag, we found that the full size of the Amigo Dip was missing. It wasn’t a huge deal at first, but when I called to let her know, she was dismissive and insisted she had put it in the white bag. I checked again and confirmed it wasn’t there, but she just kept repeating, “I know I put it in there.” I eventually gave up, and my partner went back to retrieve the dip. It was such a waste of time, gas, and money. If the dip hadn’t cost nearly $8, I wouldn’t have bothered at all. I do not recommend this place.

The dining experience was disappointing, primarily due to the service. The bartender was unfriendly and unhelpful, and it was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant. The manager needs to address these issues.

I was disappointed with our burrito order this evening. We ordered three with different types of meat: brisket, beef, and chicken, but only one had meat on it. This was really frustrating.

Love the buffalo wings and I'm not sure who the margaritas are, but are they?

Starting with the thin, warm, crispy chips with delicious salsas, then delightful service and great atmosphere, our food came quickly and was very tasty. Plus, the pricing on the daily specials is nicely affordable. We’ll definitely be back! It was a pleasant surprise.
