Applebee's - Kansas City

Edit: I spoke with the manager, who was very nice. She apologized for the issues and offered a credit, and she is working on resolving these concerns.

The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, but we were very hungry, so we decided to give it a try. Our waiter, Steven, was fantastic—polite, unobtrusive, and attentive. The food was quite good too, even if we hadn’t been so famished. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and lime chicken with rice, which were the highlights of our meal. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The floor and the table were sticky, and the woman behind the bar was shouting at the customers. Her commotion made it nearly impossible for us to have a conversation, and as time went on, she only got louder and more vulgar.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! As someone who works a lot, I often find myself dining alone, and I decided to stop by for a decent meal between shifts. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the food was excellent. I absolutely loved the lemonade—it’s my favorite!

So glad we came here it was our wedding day we went to Applebee's on 350 and raytown . No one ever greeted us or said hello or anything so we left and was on our way to go to corral then we were on the highway and saw y'all Applebee's said we would give it a try way better service greeted us right when we came in set us down, so even though we travel down the street a little ways we were gladly appreciative for the good service and good food on our wedding day. ????

Worst experience! Don?t go you?ll regret the time and money spent. Couldn?t tell you what was worse the service or food. I have service experience so I?m usually pretty understanding but this wasn?t because they were busy because my server only had 3 tables seated including us. When the host seated us our waitress loudly complained about being seated. We waited for her to come to the table when she finally did it was to say she?d be with us after helping others. We waited longer. By then we had our order ready then she left again bc she wasn?t ready to take our orders. She starts taking our order and gets impatient with my 4 year old who is telling her her order. My daughter was not playing around so I didn?t understand her impatience. We order. We wait and finally get drinks. Then we wait and wait. Again it is a Saturday and not busy at all. Waiting still. Waitress ignores the fact we?re there not stopping by to let us know they are busy or it?ll be up soon no excuse at all just ignores us. Now we had ordered 3 appetizers none of which were time consuming to make. Still no appetizers so after waiting long enough I finally had to put my hand up to get her attention since she was ignoring us and I asked if she could see how the appetizers were coming along she then brought them out blaming the other servers for not bringing our food out for her. Again she had not been busy and had been walking around talking to other said waitresses. They had been sitting out and was cold. Then she must have seen our food up when she grabbed the appetizers because right after that she dropped off my steak and other food and walked away. My food was barely warm but then we had to wait for her to show back up so we could ask for silverware. Finally asked her and she said yeah then walks around not getting silverware. So while we waited a while we ate the barely warm appetizers. She finally showed up with forks and napkins. I had to call after her to ask for a knife? for my steak she
