Stalking a table was doable in the large industrial space, service to the table quick and pleasant. Oh and the food, I had a crab scramble, a Benedict-like dish filled with crab and silky eggs with perfectly roasted potatoes. And who could leave w/o something from the bakery...a cranberry orange sugar cookies for me. (Lots of gluten free stuff, too.
Being a 13 year gluten free veteran, I started at the beginning when no one even knew what being GF was. All the products on shelves tasted closer to a mixture of sand, cardboard, and a kitchen sponge than food, but NOW a place like THIS exists. With every pastry and baked good that I never thought I would ever get to have again! Incredible tasting gluten free food and desserts that would honestly give non gluten free food a run for its money ANY day. Hats off Billies Grocery. Thank you for bringing delicious and nutritious food to the gluten free community!
If you have never been you should go! It is a cute place with lots of options for food and beverage. If you have celiac or eat gluten free there lots of options. The desserts are a must try! Do not let the gluten free or vegan notations keep you away because even my husband who eats anything loves them! The food is good, sometimes a little under seasoned but the chicken and waffles are really really good!Dietary restrictions: A ton of gluten free options and also vegan optionsParking: Parking is a pain, it is limited so it fills up quickly. Do not let this be what deters you from going though. Costco is right near it so worst case you can park there and walk.
Billies Grocery has the best breakfast burrito in the city, hands down. Big, tender, delicious pieces of carnitas, breakfast potatoes and lovely eggs topped off with wonderful salsas and garlic aioli. Say less. If you’re a breakfast burrito fiend like myself, you need to try this place. The only reason for the slight ding in stars is the Meshugga bagel was stale, which was disappointing. Overall, amazing food, hearty portions, great service and atmosphere.
They have a really neat shopping area in the front with some very unique options. They have lots of options for people with allergies or various lifestyle choices. They had some alcohol free “alcohols” the “gin” we bought was really good! I got a gf vegan bar and it was delicious!! So creamy!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free optionsParking: They have their own parking lot that has a decent amount of parking
