Eddie V's Prime Seafood - Kansas City

We decided to take advantage of Restaurant Week and made reservations at Eddie V's for our first visit, and we were thoroughly impressed! Our server, Lauren, was excellent at explaining the menu and providing recommendations. I ordered the Hope Diamond, one of their signature drinks, and I would highly recommend it! Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, although my steak was cooked medium-rare instead of medium. The server quickly addressed the issue and had it fixed promptly. The manager even came by to apologize. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and look forward to returning!

The service from check-in to the bar and to the table was excellent. The food was very good; I particularly loved the crab cake, lobster fried rice, bread, and the Spanish dish. However, my salmon was undercooked, which is unacceptable to me—I know how to cook, and my little brother is a chef at Kiki on the River. I also asked for my wife’s steak to be cooked well, but half of it was still undercooked. Despite this, I would like to return one day to give them a second chance. Just take a look at the picture of the salmon.

I tried the Sea Bass while my wife opted for the shrimp dish, and we were both delighted with our meals. The bread they served was particularly enjoyable. The service was excellent as well. This place isn't just about feeding your hunger; it's about providing a delightful gastronomic experience. If you haven't visited yet, I encourage you to give it a try—you may really enjoy it!

Not only is the staff very professional and courteous, but the food and portions are actually good and plentiful. Hard to roll ourselves out of there lol. Definitely a place worth checking out when you have the extra coin! My birthday dinner was well worth it and I'll be going back!

My wife and I decided to go to Eddie V's for our 6th wedding anniversary, to get some fine dining. Let me say that not only is the food great but the service is impeccable. And not only is the food great, they also have good sized portions. Oftentimes when you go to a place like this, there isn't a lot of food. But here, the food covers the WHOLE plate lol. Yes, per person be prepared to spend around $100 per person, give or take. But it is definitely worth it.
