Fire Canyon Barbeque - Kansas City

I had Fire Canyon cater a family event about two years ago, and I was so impressed with the food that we chose Darren to cater our son's wedding for 150 guests in Fort Collins last year. The planning and logistics ran smoothly, and Darren was incredibly responsive and helpful in finalizing the details. I recommend taking his suggestions for the menu and portion sizes—he really knows what he’s doing! The prices were fair, and the food was worth every penny. We opted for a variety of meat options and side dishes so that guests could sample everything, which turned out to be a smart choice. The food was excellent, and everyone loved it. At the end of the wedding, we provided take-home containers for leftovers, and our guests were really grateful for that.

Fire Canyon BBQ was our top choice for company barbecues when we were in Colorado, hosting events for about 50-75 people. The food was incredible and very reasonably priced. When I called to place an order, their team provided helpful suggestions that simplified the entire process. We sampled a variety of dishes, from brisket to chicken, and everything was delicious. I always made sure to order extra mac and cheese because it was a favorite among the employees. I was truly sad to see them leave, but everyone in Kansas City is going to be lucky when they start operating there. Enjoy!

We ordered delivery, focusing on BBQ ribs, which we assumed would be baby back ribs—unfortunately, this wasn't mentioned. I'm not sure if both options were available. I personally enjoyed my full-sized BBQ ribs, but some in the group were disappointed. I've learned to always ask when dining with others, but I thought the ribs were excellent, especially since we were at a friend's new studio nearby. Overall, it was a nice meal. Others ordered chicken and a special mashed potato dish, which I thought was very good. However, since I'm not a local, I won't be able to place ongoing orders.

We had the pleasure of trying “Crazy Kate’s Burnt End Ice Cream (with blueberry BBQ sauce)” last night at 105 Brewing..... amazing how good it was. Thank you Darren and Bridget!!

Top notch melt in your mouth BBQ! I’d follow this truck to hell and back to get some of that smoky goodness. Darren runs an excellent operation.
