Fluffy Fresh Donuts - Kansas City

I arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes after it opened. The trash can was still blocking the entrance, and all the chairs were stacked upside down on the tables. There were no donuts or trays in the display case, making it unclear if they were open for business. When I entered, the woman working there apologized and informed me that only three donut options were available. She mentioned that if I wanted anything else, I would have to wait an hour. I was confused and frustrated - if they didn't have donuts to sell, why open at 5am? Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The donuts at this restaurant are fast, affordable, and mouth-watering! Be sure to try the long glazed cinnamon twists - they are a must-have.

The donuts are great, but we’ve came numerous times to them closed 3+ hours before the scheduled time. It’s frustrating to drive and then be closed. I understand selling out within an hour of close, but 2-3hrs prior and frequently is upsetting. They need to start making more donuts or close at 9am. We went last Saturday and they were sold out of 50% by 8:30am. Today we went at 10am and they were closed.

Been going here since I was a kid, they have been around since the 70s if that tells you anything. Their donuts are AMAZING! Maple bars, reg glazed, donut holes, these are my go2s! Seriously, try this place if you havn't, hands down the best donuts in KC!

If you are thinking about giving this donut shop a try, go for it! I can't decide what's better, the friendly staff or the delicious fluffy donuts. I recommend getting there early before all the best donuts sell out, but even when I arrived at 8 am on a Wednesday, everything I tried was fantastic. This is now my top choice for a cheat meal!
