Kind Food - Kansas City

My girlfriend (vegan) and I (non vegan) absolutely loved Kind Food! The staff was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. We got the Crazy Bac'n Ranch Potatoes, Gateway Nachos, and a chickpea wrap. The potatoes had a very rich, bacony/BBQ flavor, and my GF has said before that vegan foods usually struggle to get bacon flavor right, but these did! The nacho serving size was enough for the two of us and the cashew cheese was incredible easily one of my favorite vegan specialties that I've tried. The wrap was very crisp and had a sweet sauce/dressing, although I can't find it on the menu now.

Over priced food and an unfriendly staff. I had their $10 pancakes, 3 pancakes, the tiniest bit of earth balance and a thimble of syrup. They tasted like a mix and were crazy dry, I couldn’t eat much of it. My wife had their breakfast burrito and it was dripping with oil and it made her sick. The staff was awkward and unhelpful. We won’t be back

Great food and your getting your money worth, I’m not trying another vegan restaurant in Kansas or Missouri until I go through the whole menu. That good

I highly recommend checking out this 100% vegan restaurant. They moved to this new location with an actual sit-in area for their restaurant. They used to be in a shipping container walk-up only style deal. This new spot is very nice. The interior decor is so nice looking and there 's plenty of spacious seating options for big or small groups. The food is AMAZING. I got the Rooben Sandwich , chips and queso and a cupcake. The Rooben Sandwich was so good I was shocked. Going to be back here again soon.

My husband and I ate there this Saturday for lunch. We split the grilled cheese and the barbecue nachos. They were both really really good. My husband who is not vegan said that that grilled cheese was the best he's ever had. Nothing tasted vegan to me and I do know if things aren't vegan because I can't digest animal foods. We will definitely be back and bring our non vegan kids.
