Kings Table Soul Food - Kansas City

Simple yet good food at a great price. I've been here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed and always treated well. When I bring my daughter, they always make her feel like a princess!

I can genuinely say that this is the best food I have ever had. The pork chops, greens, macaroni and cheese, cornbread dressing, and yams for breakfast were all incredibly fresh and delicious! The manager informed me that they have been operating for six years, and this place truly is a hidden gem. I consider myself a bit of a foodie and I'm quite selective about my meals, but I can't thank you all enough for the amazing breakfast. I really appreciate your efforts!

I just had a fantastic long weekend in Kansas City, and I can confidently say that this was the best meal I experienced. The fried chicken was incredible, and the sides were equally impressive. The cornbread was simply outstanding! And you definitely shouldn't overlook the sweet tea—it was delicious!

My husband and I visited Kansas City for a Sunday night Chiefs game and decided to stop by before heading to the stadium. He ordered neckbone, yams, mac n cheese, and greens, while I opted for the fried pork chops, black-eyed peas, and cabbage. Everything was nothing short of perfection! A huge shoutout to the chefs! The meal was so delicious that we returned the next day before heading back home to St. Louis. For breakfast, my husband enjoyed bacon, sausage, eggs, and potatoes, while I indulged in shrimp and grits. All I can say is Mmmm Mmmm Mmm! I even brought some of this amazing food back for my mom. If you’ve dined here before, you know exactly what I mean. If you haven’t, I highly recommend stopping by—you won’t leave hungry and your stomach will thank you! We will definitely be returning to King's Table Soul Food on our next trip to Kansas City. If I could give it 100 stars, I would! Next on our list to try are the fried ribs. I brought my Gospel Choir members to King's Table on Martin Luther King Holiday, and we had a wonderful time together. The restaurant featured a long table in the center that fit 20 people, along with side tables for any extra guests. The service was prompt, the food was tasty, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. They managed our large group flawlessly, handling our various orders without any mistakes. Mr. White, the owner, took a moment to greet us and expressed his welcome for our return. I ordered the Early Bird breakfast with coffee, and I look forward to coming back in the next few days.
