Contribuisci feedbackWith our decision to get osterbrunch at rye, drilled. the burnt end hash was loaded with taste and cooked for perfection. the cinnamon rolls should be famous if they are not: perfectly baked teig — neither gooey (in bad sense) nor dry — tasteful icing, and exactly the right amount cinnamon. And if they can't say of the pictures, they are great! also the drip coffee: the special Roasterie mix was delicious. if we had not been so full, we could have enjoyed one of their excellent cocktails or pour out their fine selection of whiskys. update: I neglected to mention an equally important part of the experience: the server. all employees were prompt, attentive, well maintained (they would think that would be given, but unfortunately in these days it is not) and polite.
Excellent place for the weekend breakfast. great eating properly prepared, but not excessively unusual. reservations recommend at the weekend, but the full service bar is open. my only problem was that my square hash browns patty was more than I would find at an almost food place.
A friend recommended us rye (my important other and I) and said we should try the burger. I had never heard of rye, but love to find new places. I had no idea what a great place I entered. When I saw the menu, I could not believe that my friend recommended the burger and not the steak. we started with the badge. it was delicious. the first time with goat cheese. the honey upstairs was a great note. for my entrée I chose the prime rib with stuff salad and maische yukon goldkartoffeln. if they love steak, then I highly recommend stopping from rye and giving them an attempt. the building was clean, inside and outside. the personal was very pleasant. eating was amazing. we even had a few mixed drinks, and they came out in time and were made exactly right.
The city takeover selects a traditional bar and takes it on the second Saturday of each month; this month was rye plaza. the beautiful atmosphere was perfect for a good talk and drinks with friends. the expansion room in the back housed the dj and dance party. the staff was an absolute joy to work with and their mixologist mix a strong tasty drink. rye for the collaboration with us to create an inclusive kc.
