Shelia's Grinder Shop - Kansas City

This place has the best grinders in town! I'm absolutely in love with their pasta salad—I'm completely hooked on it. This charming, tucked-away restaurant has been a staple in Westport for longer than I can remember. It may have had a different name in the past, but the same wonderful people and amazing food are still here.

I had an excellent fast Italian sausage sandwich that was packed with rich meat, cheese, and marinara sauce, all nestled in a slightly toasted Italian roll. It’s a fantastic spot for a quick snack or a speedy lunch.

The Mahler Sandwiches are their specialty and they're absolutely delicious. I also really enjoy the side salad; it’s topped with some mandarin segments and a really lovely vinaigrette.

This place has authentic Italian meat sauce w spaghetti. It is served with a fresh salad of green with grapes. It is a real find near the Westport Post Office

The BEST meatball grinder. The BEST service. So glad we put it on our to do list when visiting KC. It was the same grinder i used to eat for lunch 40 years ago.
