Tasty Thai - Kansas City

Always a favorite! Wife had yellow curry noodles, a first for her, and enjoyed it I had pad thai, didn 't choose the buy one get one half off to take home special. Was also good! Crying tiger beef appetizer was awesome!

The food was just ok. It was not good but was at least edible. Service was slow and one of male servers, who I think was actually the cook, drug his sleeve through my rice as he dropped it unceremoniously on the table. The restaurant is poorly lit and the furnishings are tired and dingy. I have eaten here in the past and the food and service were pretty good. This time, however it was not.

The curry is amazing! Love this place, good authentic Thai food!

Have ate here off/on for almost 20yrs, started going, mostly takeout, 2-3yrs after they opened. Most recent visit a couple weeks ago was a let down. Portions are much smaller, very few pieces of shrimp, chicken onions were lacking in my pad Thai. I did order it hot and the spice and flavor was really good. But, portion size seems half of what to-go orders are. I'll give it another shot and order to-go next time and see if it's better. If not, I'll look elsewhere for my Thai fix. To go order used to be 2, if not 3 meals. We ate all our food that nite. Lastly, prices have increased dramatically for less food on this visit at least.

I ordered the pad thai without fish sauce several times and was just informed by a waiter, there is no such possibility as to prefabricate their sauces. very annoyed to know that they deliberately or accidentally with means of living with animals products when I ask for without. I didn't order any other items, but in a pinch you might get early rolls or fried rice.
