The Russell - Kansas City

This place is unbelievable and probably one of the best food values around. they go inside and they can smell the wood burning, and the delicious wood fired meat and vegetables. the atmosphere is dark, cozy and rustic. sometimes they see a worker who add more wood from the pebbles around the restaurant to the fire. the burger is one of the best I ever had. everything on the menu I tried was absolutely delicious. can also not go wrong with the russell bowl. I'm telling everyone who didn't hear they have to go asap. especially if they consider other fast restaurants, or just a little more beautiful than fast eating. they just go here and money is spent well.

From the moment they go, they can say this place is unique, warm and eating immediately smells great! we were greeted by amazing employees who feel them as they know each other and are ready to answer all their questions. eating was phenomenal, the hummus and baguette is a must try! a very special thank you to peter and brian who made our lunch experience unforgettable! also desserts! one of the best brownies I had!

Super rustic looking, very unique, cool room. the decor is very unique. it feels like you're in an old sailboat or something haha. they order in front and then choose a table. they have huge comfortable chairs. the food tasted great.

WOW! Went here for Valentine’s Day and 10/10 so impressed. I got the sumac bowl and it was DELICIOUS. When they say quality food they mean it. We also got a carrot cake cupcake with the perfect icing. The vibe was so comfortable, high class and casual at the same time. Cannot wait to come back here!

Honestly best steak I’ve had, great staff, and awesome food. We got some dessert for later. Thanks for making our 26yr anniversary lunch, won’t forget it!!
