Sleeping Giant Grill - Kapaa

We arrived at the Sleeping Giant Grill late and hungry, not knowing the area well. Despite being out of tofu, we tried their wrap with tempeh as a substitute. The strong sauce initially made me doubt my choice, but ultimately it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Overall, the experience was really enjoyable.

We decided to try this highly recommended restaurant based on the suggestion of our experienced leader, Mason from Kauai Backcountry, and we were not disappointed! The ahi burrito with hot sauce was absolutely delicious. You can find this gem located right behind the Coconut Marketplace.

Wow! This restaurant was recommended by our kayak tour guide and it was amazing! I ordered the ahi burrito and the server asked me how I wanted it cooked. I said I wanted it rare, and they cooked it perfectly. I wasn't very hungry when I arrived, but I knew I needed a bite before my flight. I was full afterwards, but it was worth it. I couldn't believe that everything on the menu was delicious. The server at the counter was extremely friendly and even chuckled when I mentioned that Brian from Hawaii recommended the place. It seems like he tells everyone about it. You should definitely go and try it out!

During our first night in Kauai, we dined at this restaurant and shared an order of delicious ono and ahi fish tacos. We enjoyed them so much that we knew we had to come back before leaving the island to try more of their menu offerings.
