Ayngaran Chettinad Unavagam - Karaikudi

The restaurant serves traditional Chettinad cuisine that is as delicious as a home-cooked meal in a Chettiar household. The lunchtime spread included three sweet dishes along with dishes like Vaazhakkaai Poriyal, Karunaikkizhangu Masiyal, and Pudalangaai Kootu, all of which were excellent. The restaurant only serves vegetarian dishes and is not open for breakfast. I also had their house specialties, Ukkaaru and Dhumroot Halwa, for dessert, which were both delicious.

This is the right place to have traditional, chettinad style eating in a chettinad house like surroundings. great eating and very good experience.
