The view is lovely and it's a great place to relax with family. The pork belly from a previous visit was absolutely fantastic.
We recently enjoyed High Tea at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden setting. We loved the seamless transition between indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations are a must as it is a popular spot, but the staff still provided good service despite being very busy. The standout items for us were the freshly made sandwiches, scones, and ginger tea - all very impressive. The quiche and cakes were average, possibly not made fresh that day. We hope to return and try the BBQ Pork Belly dish we saw at the next table, as it looked delicious. Overall, a great experience!
They offer a good selection of beers, both bottled and on tap. The tap beers are craft beer. The food was delicious, with the smoked salmon and main dishes (pork and beef) cooked perfectly. The dessert trio of brownie, panna cotta, and lemon meringue tart was also enjoyable. Overall, it is a charming venue for a wedding, although it is on the smaller side. They also offer Mongolian lamb on weekends, which is worth trying out.
Had been wanting to visit here for a while, and finally made it. St Margarets is a beautiful location with well tended gardens that are stunning all year round. There is indoor outdoor seating with a good area for the kids to run around toys to entertain them. We tried the beef short rib confit duck after been tempted by the lunch menu. They do have a breakfast menu with all the favourites dinner on some nights too.
We've just had high tea for 4 and it was absolutely delightful. Lovely surroundings with great service and the food was delicious. Way too much for us to eat but we gave it our best shot
