We were recommended with friends at the geibelhof to drink a wee. amazing how little known this nice local is. the yard with headstone plaster is almost romantic to call. beautiful decoration and tables that leave enough space. that is, not tightly tight. the wine card is comprehensive and well I found that you can choose between 0.1 and 0.2 or bottle. so you can try. a small but fine menu is also available. the geibelhof is worth a recommendation.

The geibelhof in karben is - too wrong - only a few locals are known. in the courtyard of the old but very well maintained building there is a beautiful summer garden and in the stylishly rebuilt skies the associated weinstube with restoration operation. in beautiful weather you can choose in toskana. the map is manageable and offers small dishes with French-Mediterranean impact, but also hessian specialties can be found on the daily map. we have eaten dozens of times here and have never been disappointed.The mood is always loose, cheerful, family. the people working here seem to be very happy to work here. the actual core-competence of the geibelhof is however wein. the wine card is detailed and of selected quality. the chef is hosted by passion and a changing weinlexikon; his recommendations always fit. The geibelhof also includes a tiny wine shop and you can buy the newly discovered wineries directly in the shop and carry them to the house. the prices (eating and wein) are very popular. the geibelhof is always worth a trip or a detour - but please note the opening times (website).
