Easter Sunday lunch was Incredibly underwhelming. Charging inner city Sydney prices in a suburban shopping centre in the shire, but not delivering the quality. Tuna entree flavourless and low quality. Lamb blackstrap unseasoned and flavourless, clearly not cooked to order: Staff replaced the lamb with pork belly main, which was very overcooked and dry at which point I gave up telling them it was bad. The special bug and prawn ravioli way overpriced at $42 for two large ravioli. I’d expect at least it be garnished with a prawn or a bug, but no. Oyster entrees ‘ok’, but again crazy for the location at $5.50 per oyster and not amazing. Worth noting however the waitstaff were super lovely and attentive, nothing bad to say about them just the food. Certainly won’t be back.
Don't be put off that is attached to a shopping centre as this place is quality dining. I them for offering a vegan menu but not asking meat prices. The vegan dumplings were tasty. The vegetable bake pizza was very interesting flavorsome. My dining partner enjoyed her pork belly burnt basque cheesecake. We had a lovely lunch the service was very attentive. The space is very large with lots of different areas, they have a separate room for groups of up to 20.
It’s been a while since we visited and the food was still lovely but the service from our waiter Will was amazing. He knew the menu and was happy to assist with our wine selection. Great food is always expected, the exception service is what will bring us back.
