Grosser Kurfurst - Karlsruhe

This restaurant is located across the street from the Acora Hotel. The salad bar is ample. I ate there twice. A la carte I ordered pork Schnitzel which was fabulous. Very large portion, got 2 meals out of it. Also had salad from the salad bar. Best Oil and Vinegar dressing I ever had. The second time I visited, I enjoyed the "Spargel Bar", Asparagus Bar, since it was Asparagus time. The Asparagus are white not the green kind known in America. The Cream of Asparagus was fantastic, out of this world!!! The Asparagus came with a delicious white sauce, then choice of potataoes or hand=made Spaetzle. You must have the Spaetzle, highly recommend. Both my meals were some of the best I have enjoyed. Andreas is a very pleasant Inn Keeper.

We have arrived here after a busy day for dinner and reported to us for the buffet of various meats, sauces, sweets, potato supplements ( pommes, croquettes, criminal potatoes, etc.). expected us. it is very beautifully dressed and rich. the personal is friendly and accommodating. the service is right! there is also a possibility for smokers to return here. please only pay attention to the small price difference between the carving and saving bag. price - performance ratio is top.

We were here the first time to the asparagus buffet.We found very fresh and tasty diners in absolutely sufficient selection.The chef was relocated regularly.In considering the quality of the products, the price-performance ratio is very good.Very nice operation. We'll be back.

I was already here tonight for the 5th time and we were absolutely satisfied every time. as always, top fine dining, nice service and today even the chef personally greeted us. we will eat again here, price performance is not too to bite and also the rest is not, thank you and always happy again!
