The compiled menu and the matching wine from the sommeliere were a pure joy. if the possibility arises again, it will certainly lead away here. eating was a true joy for both the eyes and the likes.

The Nuclear Forensics International Technical Working Group conference hosted it's dinner here in June 2017. The restaurant is about 10 minutes drive from the train station area of Karlsruhe and is a converted factory, still notable by the tall chimney still in place. The restaurant has a number of different areas and we were in what was clearly either a former store or factory area. The restaurant staff were very friendly and catered for my gluten free requirements very well. The food was very good and really there is nothing to complain about.

We were in the le salon for the first time and very excited what awaits us there. we were received very nicely and consistently very good and friendly. we ordered a 4-course surprise menu. our request without seafood was received at the reservation. at summer temperatures we sat in the shade in the outside area. it was pleasant and cozy with light wind train. Unfortunately, in the bistro next door was a larger company, which was very loud and was felt a bit as disturbing.The menu was basically excellent. the foods were always very beautifully dressed and really tasted us. for a local of this class, however, I would expect perfection. for example, we have presented menu cards for a Glen-Douglas-Lach, in which the salmon has been exchanged by kalbsfilet. you should have printed it on the menus. and there were no cards for a gang.Small weakened had the actual lead. it was announced to be a crusty chipper, which was unfortunately not at all crusty, but rather of the resistance of the skin rather wabbelig. In the dessert we also had to find that a component (chocolate cinnamon bar) had failed. After that we were only attentive when dessert was served at the table next door, here with chocolate cinnamon bar.That should not happen in a star place. Overall we enjoyed the evening and felt comfortable. the hoped wow effect was not there, so only 4-points.

Today with my wife. a consistently excellent performance was delivered to us. appetizer, main course and dessert were excellent. the pastrami starter course and the iberico swan as the main course. I've never eaten a better piece of pork. also my wife was very satisfied with sparing and was carving. service, wein and location were also top.
