Contribuisci feedbackI had dinner in the boiler house a few days ago. we went there specifically for their 4-course vegan menu, which came with 37 eur. the location is located in an industrial area, but it was quite full, so I would recommend to maintain. the evening meal began with small carvings and tofu cubes, which was quite good. it was all very strong in her aromen, like the following dishes, but in this case there was also a sweet element of I think goji berries. the second cure, a potato and soup (I think) was good, and it had again the sweet note with a few fried crawls on the side with a sweet lemonade dimmer. the main consisted of falafel-like rice balls with a tofu filling, and the dessert was a small piece sorbet and a kiwi avocado cake. all in all it was good, but I wanted to have a few milder aromen to balance the strongly marinated and spiced elements. I assume that because it is a restaurant that serves meat, the vegan menu that will complain that something lacks when the aromen are not all very strong. who knows. I certainly praise the place to give him an attempt and to work it well. regarding the atmosphere, it is not cheap, not quite a fine culinary experience, but clear in this direction. there were people in half-formal evening dress, women with jewellery, let them take it on these wise men who had dressed for this occasion. most people were completely casual. it is located in a renovated old industrial building.
The location is very nicely furnished and the service of the staff is very good. upscale kitchen and locality. Nevertheless everyone is always friendly and very nice. the choice of weeping is also good and they can spend many hours here well and without problems because it is so cozy. the location is also topp should be a good attainability with wheel, car, public transport or to foot. we always had great evenings when we were there. a lot of fun at a special evening in the boiler house in karlsruhe, it is worth it!
If I have read the previous reviews, I have to report myself. my experience is based on frequent visits on the midday table that are looking at the same price-performance ratio, dinner in the bistro and in the salon until visiting ceremonies with many guests. from the quality of eating to service, I have no single negative experience.
There is a good lunch table and in the evening you can go to eat pretty chic. the personal is very different. some are very friendly, others are somewhat stressed.
For some time, there are new additions in the boiler house . whether they have been introduced by a new owner I can't say, but I guess it. there is a gourmet restaurant in le salon, which I have not yet tried but this is located in the former fireplace room, which has only one ethanol kamin. (at least that was so early. . the large space of the boiler house, which is located in old beautifully restored rural old industrial culture, is now called bistro. here there are normal restaurant kitchen a la carte and also daily dishes. the salad with bark stripes, which I found really legendary earlier, is no longer on the map. That's a shame. also the combination options (fish/meat, supplement and sauce selectable and the menus are no longer available. what has remained are the flame cakes that I find too expensive and not really good. the salate card has become smaller, and for me not really finer. the spears are more glamorous, but they are not better but only more beautiful. this fulfills the claim raised kitchen only visually. what has become significantly better is the service. more inconspicuous, attentive, faster, more friendly. this is good! still very nice are the spatialities and the atmosphere I still like. Otherwise, the boiler house is there to find the orientation between the raised kitchen (that is not it in the bistro definitiw and good restaurant still. I would clearly plead for the direction of earlier with a little less crisp and more substance for it.
