O"learys Karlstad

Var på AW med ett helt gäng vänner och kollegor i fredags. Det började inte så bra, då vi var tvungna ropa på en servitris för att få göra första beställningen. Det fortsatte hela kvällen. Det var den kassaste servicen jag NÅGONSIN vart med om! Den "bästa" servitrisen svor och betedde dessutom allmänt illa. Jag kommer inte gå till Olearys igen förrän de sagt upp all servicpersonal och börjat om på nytt.

Maten är toppen! All eloge till köket men tyvärr drar servicen ner på betyget. Jag kan allt om deras privatliv och vad de tycker om sina kollegor (verkar inte finnas något de gillar hos de andra.. då jag ofta blir placerad nära baren där de håller en ganska livlig diskussion med sina oombytta kollegor. Sånt står man inte och pratar om så att gäster hör, eller hur fulla de var igår och knappt orkar jobba idag. Skärpning,

Big bar, average burgers, salmon looked ok but fish n' chips was a bit on the small side. Lots of TV's, but issues getting a footy match to stream and, when it did, it was the same match on each TV. Beers were fine, other punters were friendly enough, (astronauts from NASA on the night we were there, visiting because they'd been told there was no atmosphere, ta-da! , an probably really different when it is full. Barmaid was cute though!

I do not understand why I gave them one more chance. Sat down with my friend in the Bar, and asked for meny and two beers, the staff in the var went around like newborn chickens, and had no overview over the customers in the bar. The bartender , who seemed to be very young, was very stressed and asked me 3 times what beer I wanted , since he forgot what draft beer I ordered. The food that I ordered was delivered by the only nice girl that handled us well. The bartenders were a catastrofe. I counted 3 bartenders, and 7 customers at the bar, and they were more occupied with internal talk about what they were going to do next friday, and unpacking glasses, than serving sitting guests that wanted to order..... When i asked why the only showed commercial on the many TV screens , they replied there is a Färjestad local hockey team) game beginning soon, when I replied that the game does not start in 40 minutes, they said that it would start the casting earlier. It did not. Sitting in a sportbar, with out sport on TV , is not a good idea. O´Learys as a chain is normally a goos place were you get what you expect, but the one in Karlstad dos not. I recommend Pitchers instead, more crowded, less fancy environment , but good service, and professional personell. I guess it is a leadership question.

We end up at this place after a long day... located in the Karlstad downtown pedestrian area, this restaurant offers an environment where to relax enjoying watching sports, company and good beers. Super efficient waiters will feed you in a timely fashion allowing the conversation at the table to flow like the beer refilling Enjoy
